A hen party at home can be every bit as lively as a night out. Everyone has space to settle in, the playlist is yours, and nobody has to watch the clock for a taxi. Add a hosted cocktail masterclass and you have a shared activity that gets the group laughing and making something together.
Start with the venue, then plan the fun
A holiday cottage, hired house or private room can all work. Before you book, check that the host allows visiting activity providers and that there is a table or counter where guests can gather. Send Oliver the venue postcode, your date and any access details. That helps him match your party with someone from the team who is available nearby.
Leave a little breathing room in the schedule. Guests need time to arrive and get settled; the class itself lasts two hours. If dinner follows, allow time for everyone to freshen up rather than planning the next booking for the moment the final cocktail is made.
What happens in the cocktail class?
Your host brings the spirits, ice, mixers, garnishes, cocktail ingredients and glassware. They guide the group through making either three or four cocktails, depending on the option you choose. Everyone gets hands-on, so it feels like a party you are part of rather than a demonstration you sit through.
Tell us what your group enjoys. Some parties want a polished black-dress evening; others turn up in cowgirl hats, ABBA sparkle or pyjamas. We can talk through the atmosphere and the practical setup before confirming the booking. If you have a favourite drink or a guest who would prefer another option, mention it when you enquire so Oliver can discuss what is possible.
How much does it cost?
The three-cocktail class is £40 per person and the four-cocktail class is £45 per person. Both are two hours long. The minimum charge is based on ten people: £400 for three cocktails or £450 for four. A smaller group can still book by paying the ten-person minimum.
The price is clear about what comes with the class: spirits, ice, mixers, garnishes, cocktail ingredients and glassware. We confirm the date, venue arrangements and booking terms with you before you commit.
Make it a whole afternoon or evening
If the group wants more than cocktails, you can ask about pairing the class with life drawing. The class is a great icebreaker, and the cocktail session can follow later. Combination deals depend on the team and your date, so Oliver will quote the options after checking availability.
A buff butler can also help get the party started by serving drinks, pouring fizz, hosting games and organising photos. For a surprise later in the evening, explore our male performers. You can select more than one activity on the enquiry form, and we will look at the timings together.
Talk your plan through with Oliver
Oliver has worked at hen parties since 2018 and still hosts cocktail and life-drawing sessions himself. When you enquire, it is Oliver you speak to. He personally knows the people he sends to your celebration, and he can offer a free 15-minute planning call if you would rather talk the weekend through with a person.
Check your date and send your party plan. Include the postcode, group size, preferred time and any other activities you are considering. We will come back with availability and a clear quote.
